Terrarium observation

A couple of days ago, me and my partner observed our terrarium. We planted corn, peas, radish, and clover. We left them alone for 72 hours. The pea grew tall and the corn was slightly shorter than the pea. The best plant that grows in the terrarium is the pea or clover. The nonliving factors didnt change at all. We also observed the sides of the terrarium and it was wet. So that means the water has evaporated. The soil recommended on top of the seeds should be two centameters. If we had done this again, we would get diffrerent seeds and see how they grow.

5th grade camp

Hello people of the world. On March 30th, the whole 5th grade(including me) went to camp. It was soooo fun. Our group went hiking and we got to learn about string figures and we dissected a owl pellet. I found the head of a shrew or a rat. We saw a deers skeleton( the picture on the right) and a tree that is 200 years old! The food at camp was great. We got to play bingo and dress up as a monster named the polgar. The sad part of camp was when we left. Anyways, camp was fun,(especially when you got to sleep).

Hey, today I am reporting on something that is very important to the United States. The inauguration of president elect Obama. He was sworn into office around noon. My class watched Obama when he said the oath of office. Vice president Joe Biden was sworn in before Obama. There was muisic preformed by Yo Yo ma and other muisicians. A famous singer sang ''My country tis of te.'' The older bush came for the inaguration. Goerge W. Bush and his wife came. Dick Cheney came. That's all I have today.

Mike's Problem

I disagree with his decision because the liquid in the barrel is a solution because one of those substances might have disolved in the water. This is one of my problems in my science study guide.

Hospitality House

Hi, today I am not reporting on any video game but I am reporting on a great place that I had the oppertunity to visit. It is called Hospitality House. This is a piece that I wrote at school.

Hospitality House

It’s the jolly season again. Some families find it difficult because they lost their job, house, and car. They even can’t afford their own food and have nowhere to sleep. Thank god there is hospitality house. This is what I think about it.

Hospitality house is a program where they give food to people who can not afford it. First they sign a sheet for when you are shopping. Second they come and shop for the items they need. The people who work there help you shop. The food is free and it looks a lot like Kroger. On thanksgiving they give away free turkeys. When my class went to the Hospitality House, we donated 975 pounds of food. Talk about lots of food.

I think Hospitality House is a great place. What do you think about it?
